— Women on Boards
Designed for women who lead — and those preparing to.
A foundation programme empowering women to step into and succeed in board roles — combining governance rigour with the behavioural depth that defines great directors.

— the programme
A board seat is not the destination – it’s where the work begins.
Our Women on Boards Foundation focuses on boardroom readiness, governance excellence, and strategic oversight — equipping you with the technical fluency and the personal authority required to contribute meaningfully from your first meeting.
Delivered over three intensive sessions, this programme blends governance frameworks, real-world boardroom simulation, and behavioural coaching with Joy-Marie Lawrence and a curated faculty of practising directors.
— What you’ll develop
Four pillars of board-ready leadership.
01
Boardroom Readiness
Step into board roles with confidence — understand the rhythms, etiquette and expectations of high-performing boards.
02
Governance Excellence
Master fiduciary duty, risk oversight, financial literacy and the regulatory frameworks that govern modern boards.
03
Strategic Oversight
Shift from operator to overseer — challenge well, ask the right questions and shape long-term value creation.
04
Presence & Influence
Develop the gravitas, voice and behavioural depth required to lead in often male-dominated boardrooms.
